Administration Overview

Let's take a look at all the aspects that you can control with your administration access. 

Begin by logging into the BIMobject Cloud.


Then click on the profile picture in the top right hand corner. From there you can access the administration view by selecting “Company Admin”. 

NOTE: The number of menu icons may differ depending on your user roles.

You will be presented with a drop down window showing all the brands that you have access to.  If you are only connected to 1 brand, it will be the default selection. You can also enter the brand name into the field

Once a brand has been selected, you will be taken to the Brand Administration Dashboard

On the dashboard you’ll see a navigation bar on the left and summary of the brand account in the center.

  1. Products - Number of product pages that have been created
  2. Product Sites - Number of product sites (if applicable)
  3. BIMobject Properties - Number of custom property sets created
  4. Users - Number of users that are associated to the brand

To expand the navigation bar, simply press the hamburger icon to display the following

Products - Create and manage your product pages as well as the BIM objects associated with those product pages.  Learn how to create and manage Product Pages here.

Families - Create and manage how products are grouped and organized.  Here you can create Families (main product category) and groups (sub categories).  Learn how to create Families here.

Regions - Define the regions your products are available in around the world as a set.  You can create as many sets as you need to match different product availability within your brand.  Learn how to use Region Sets here.

Users - Manage all the members of your team that are connected to your brand in the BIMobject Cloud and decide their roles and access.  Learn how to manage your members here and setting up their regions here.

Settings - Set up your brand with the right information, such as: brand name, URL, logo, company description and contact details. Learn how to use Brand Settings here.

Lastly, if your brand account includes Analytics and/or Product Sites as part of your subscription (or role) you may see the following icon menus depending on the roles that have been assigned to you.

BIManalytics® - BIManalytics® is a pre-sales, business and marketing analytics tool to follow up on leads connected to downloads from the BIMobject® Cloud. It is a prospect and lead generator, an enabler for business matching, as well as a communication tool to engage with direct and indirect influencers.  Get started with BIManalytics® here.

Product Sites - A product site is a microsite that lets you keep your BIM objects on your own website. While the objects themselves are hosted and maintained in the BIMobject Cloud, they are seamlessly integrated into your website, with the same visual design.
