A great deal of the product information you are asked to enter when creating product pages is actually about making sure that you reach your intended audience – or rather, making sure that they can find you. Providing information and key words in such a way that search engines have an easier time finding you, is called Search Engine Optimization, or SEO. It plays an important part in your presence in the BIMobject Cloud.
Leading search engines, such as Google, Bing and Yahoo!, use crawlers to find pages for their algorithmic search results. Pages that are linked from other search engine indexed pages do not need to be submitted because they are found automatically.
The BIMobject product pages support SEO by using the Product name and Product description as the so-called Meta title and Meta description, both things that will be indexed by Google crawlers. Let's use an example for clarity!

As you can see, the blue link shows the product page title and consists of "Product name (Brand)｜Free BIM object for Revit...". Underneath, the link is the simply the whole Product description.
Now, compare with an image of the product page that the search result refers to:
Here, you can see the Product name, Product description and brand, and how they are formatted on the product page.
